We met eachother in 2000 , when Geir first visited Romania! He knew a lot about alpine plants and I knew a lot about
Romania of course. We both discovered how beautiful this country can be , and how wonderful the nature is.
Long time after that in 2006 becouse of the interes in this areea ( Romanian Carpathians) and since Romania become
a decent european country, more botanists got interested in seeing the habitat of alpine plants in these mountains.
Having the Romania's side of tour covered by Gigi Sitaru and based on the knowledge and experience of Geir
Moen , the botanist , we had a great tour in 2006 , with 14 people that I hope they enjoyed every moment from that
trip.
Our purpose is to make everyone interested , to see the beaury of these mountains , and to enjoy the view of alpine
plants on its own habitat!
